Gig Listings and Single Info    |  |  | Inbox The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain The Ukes single is now at Number 99 in the charts, so we made it into double figures! But it's not over yet... Sales figures since this chart position was reached (last Thursday) have been four times the amount it had sold by then. This suggests that next week might see an even higher position. Also it has not yet taken into account any of the on-line sales, and it's been at number one in the Amazon sales chart all week... So thank you very much to all those who have bought a copy, and thanks also to all those who have tried to buy a copy and have consequently created a stir in the shops or on the phone, persuading the record shops to order the single. A few more sales won't do any harm. If you were you intending to buy one but didn't make it, why not add your shoulder to the wheel, we are assured that every Virgin should have one from now on, and HMV are now carrying it. The news on our Miss Dynamitee single is that it has reached the giddy heights of number 81 in this weeks' midweek chart and was number 22 in the BBC indie chart last week - thanks to everyone who bought it. We're currently getting ready for our mini-tour of Ireland this month, and gearing up for Sweden and Finland in April. To those of you in Scotland asking when we'll be up there - plans are afoot - hopefully I'll be able to give you firm dates in the next mail-out. We are also aiming to re-release a couple albums from the back catalogue by this April (to be available through an updated website) and have just filmed a live concert at the Barbican which will be out later this year as a DVD.
