I'd love to have the individual tracks. The wood percussions in the background around 49:00 for example, try a mix with them much louder.

That would be a chance to work out what he's saying on Intermission's mystery channel :)

That would be a chance to put up the 'Hum' at far-above-the-clouds volume, and subsequently after, the exploding guitar solo in an almost unaudible level!

@ HR lover: don't trust this dirty rotten scoundrel above here. U-MYX is a piece of software which allows you to remix songs by changing the original tracks. It was included in the L+S album. I did remixes of "Angélique" and "Quicksilver" using it. :)

That would be a huge file - how many parts to that album?

(can we keep the "That would be..")?

The answer is 42 - but what is the question?

@ Andy: if we keep into account Mike's own division of Amarok, it should be 52 different parts. Yes, that would be quite a big thing. :D Also, as far as I know, U-MYX works with a limted number of tracks, I think no more than 10. And of course there are lots of sections in Amarok which feature many more tracks than 10 (think only of the first climax). I honestly don't think it possible for the whole thing to be released in an U-MYX format.

Is there an even split between the two sides of the original LP?

@ nightspore: Yes, there is. Side A ends at 30:00 (with a fade-out), side B starts at 30:01 (with a fade-in). This refers to the cassette version, but I assume that the LP is the same. :) This split is not made according to the sections, as it happens in the very middle of a section.

That would be..a fade out pain in the arse, the 30 minute fade thing - I have a LP version but never played it. But a DIY mix version? maybe 20 minutes of H..H..Happy?

Both remixes are going to appear on the Tubular.Net Group 2011 album, as soon as Milamber finishes putting new drums on "Angélique". :)
