Practicing this piece from the Blade Runner Trilogy album. He uses a real piano with lot of beautiful ambient room noise (it has to be Vangelis the electronic musician who makes you realize how beautiful an acoustic piano is). Using Memories of Green-esque flanger + boosted pedal noise instead, and a Blade Runner-esque pad, a bit like in the Desolation Path track.

This track has a lot of Chopin's qualities. I'd really like to know what a professional classical pianist who has recorded Chopin would think of it.

Complete track coming soon.

I love this piece of music - definitely one of Vangelis' best poignant pieces of music.

I was inspired by the reverb he used on this track to treat one of my tracks in a similar way to give the impression of a big empty hall.

Well played Olivier.

Cheers,
Terry.

Full track, with a few of my signature random mistakes. Removed the flanger and increased the reverb. The original really makes me want to try to record a real acoustic piano (which I don't have).
