Does anyone have any midi patches for my VG 88 that I can have to try - I know it takes allot of work but i'll pass back any I develop.
I've been playing this stuff since I was 12 in 1975 and i'm starting to get pretty good at some of Mike's solos (after 26 years of playing them!! so I treated myself to this little unit to go in my home studio.
I use a Vigier elec, and takamini's for the rest (Acostic and clasical) LTD editions with cutaways.
AGE one guitar echo
plus comp/limitr
and a (something 21) guitar amp
I can get some close sounds by using the VG and amp unit together via the guitar pickup unit selection switch. I've ben getting used to the VG unit for the past 6months and am about to start messing withthe settings in earnest to achieve some of the sounds like on 'MLShadow' or other earlier stuff. So if there are any other bods out there who have done this and can give me a head start - Thanks in advance!
