I had a thought whilst looking through my record collection, about the labels that appear in the centre of Virgin releases.
My LP of Tubular Bells has the green "Two Virgins" label, as does my "Boxed", is my pressing of TB mid c1975-78, as I've seen TB on ebay with the white centre and the lizard. My copy of Hergest Ridge has this too, I bought this believing it to be an original 1974 pressing . Moving on to Ommadawn the LP centre is beige coloured with the "Two Virgins" being coloured lilac. I've also got the white vinyl of the Take 4 12", this has the red and green centres one colour on each side, as do later LP reissues of Tubular Bells. Yes I know maybe I'm being anoraky, but I like to know what pressings I have of each album .
Any vinyl enthusiasts are you able to help out.
many thanks .
-------------- I'm going slightly mad, It finally happened, I'm slightly mad , just very slightly mad
If you feel a little glum to Hergest Ridge you should come.
