familyjules Group: Members Posts: 1190 Joined: May 2004 Posted: Aug. 05 2004, 08:42 No, they more or less skipped over the 70s, so there was no Mike content.  Shame - it ould have done with another half hour or so really to tell the story properly.  Most of the time focused on the Bonzos (fair enough) and his last years, but there was this yawning gap in the middle that they tried to write off by saying that Viv himself couldn't really remember much about the 70s, due to his valium addiction. I suppose his MCing on TB was just a small part of a very full and colourful career, quite a famous small part mind you. It did dawn on me when watching that documentary just how much a part of that wonderful mad early 70's eclectisism Tubular Bells is or was, and how removed Mike is from that now, shame really, still life moves on.
