You can think what you want about these pics, but it has to be noted that he looked so much younger, stronger and full of life on those than he does on these last photos... Of course, we don't know how much has been covered up on these (or over-exposed on the latest).

The fact is that Mike, aged 43 on 1996,had the courage to face this project for the cover of this album, and to appear without a shirt on and showing off his(almost nude!)body.

I loved the final result(IMHO).And Mike is looking better, not because he´s younger than the recent pics from TL and TB 2003,but there´s something else we don´t see on the lastest pics...

Mike certainly looks healthy and young (though we all know the power of photoshop) but I have to say I think some of these  (like the front cover for example) are probably the most horribly pretentious pictures of him ever taken. I actualy felt embarrassed buying this CD, mind you I should have seen it as an omen before getting home and finaly listening to the music. The whole package was not Mike's finest hour.

Strangely enough,I feel very embaressed with the CD cover when I´m with the CD on my hand.Personally,I prefer when he´s not on the front cover of the CD.

The Voyager pack I like for other reasons.

If you check carefully the TB 2003 pics from Andy Earl and see the pics from TB 2003 launch, you see that Mike looks so different(maybe some Botox™ on his face!;) on the newest ones.

Photoshop is like Protools, when is not well used.

BTw,another from Voyager.

You people feel embarrassed????????????????? Oh my, where is the world coming today with Mike Oldfield fans feeling embarrassed having the Voyager cd in their hands? :D

I would rather be embarrassed having some other cd's in my hand from commercial crap bands and artists etc. ;)
