I really like War Of The Worlds, however does anyone else think that the re-issuing of TB pales in comparison to the amount of reissues/reboots that WOTW has received!? The latest one, out this week, is actually pretty good and features some new singers incl, Gary Barlow - but a quick scan of Jeff Wayne's wikipedia page shows at least 5 reissues of the album every couple of year almost! There must be a big audience for it still - he's on course for a top 10 album. not bad for essentially the same album yet again...!

I stick with my 7 disc deluxe collector's package of Jeff Wayne's musical masterpiece, which includes remastered stereo and 5.1 surround mixes of the album, out-takes, rarities and 80 page full colour presentation book.

It's a very impressive item.

Ive Heard bits of it on Spotify. Cann't see any reason to buy it unless you are a Gary Barlow Fanboy... Richard Burtons Narrative is untouchable  ..  Guess the TV  ad Campaign will get it into the charts for Xmas again,,,

There's two discs for the original album (remixed and remastered), one disc of dance remixes of individual tracks, three discs of unused sections, demos and remixed individual sections (without modern additions) and a DVD about the making of the album.
