I know that TSODE was issued on vinyl but is very rare, and I don't know about voyager...but was Tubular Bells III released on vinyl?...and if so, how does it sound?...

No, I don't think TBIII was ever released on vinyl. I only know about FATC 7" vinyl (I ordered it but was not available anymore..).

Yes, as far as I know, The Songs Of Distant Earth was the last of Mike's albums to be issued on vinyl - the only vinyl releases since have been club remixes.
