The piece does say that she was still in the music buisness back then,so maybe she`s still active today I don`t know?Judging from a few google results though I don`t think she`s working with "partner" Phil Aldridge anymore.As the more recent mentions of those Carpenters tribute shows seem to have him linked with a vocalist called Claire Furley...." Then, during the recording of a TV jingle Phil heard a voice that bore an uncanny resemblance to that of Karen Carpenter.
