They make wonderful things down there, which are often overlooked because of the market being dominated (here and in many other areas...) by the Americans and the Japanese... Anyway, yes, I have a Petrof "Concertino" upright piano. It was my first proper musical instrument - my mom bought it to me when I was eleven. I have a couple acoustic guitars but they are old and suck lol. I have an old beginner's acoustic with cat gut and missing and frayed strings. and another really old one. 20+ years old, most likely. Strings never changed since the day it was bought. Now it's impossible to change strings. There are 2 or 3 left. Keyboard/Piano - Yamaha PSR-248 (I've had it about a year) but I only use the sounds on my MT-200 sound module. I've been fooling around on keyboards and pianos for as long as I can remember. I've always joked about the Samick being the "Hyundai" of electric guitars, but I've been fortunate with the quality of the neck and playability, and I've also taken the opportunity to replace some of the cheaper hardware components over the years. La Patrie Classical Guitar, 4 years. A very un-fancy instrument. Just a solid cedar top, mohagany back and sides. Nice tone. El Cheapo Casio Keyboard (non midi, non touch-sensitive), off and on since childhood. I still can't play. West-German vintage "Shepherd" soprano recorder, 14 years :-) Various Chinese bamboo woodwind instruments with whacky tuning, since childhood. SCprogfan Unregistered Posted: Oct. 22 2003, 11:34 Korg M1, Korg Poly-61, Korg DW-6000, Casio VZ-10M, Yamaha CX5M, although it's broken now for the second time. Also have a fried ARP Omni that needs fixing.  Zoom RT-234, various software synths.  Have been "playing" these off and on for about 12 yrs.  I'm not really a musician, mostly a MIDI programmer. It's a nice little (though quite molested) upright Weinbach. Got some basic knowledge of midi too since a year or so. Could extract some sounds out of it, and even some songs. I like the acoustic guitar because it's easy as 3,141592... to make the Reggae groove on it. About to take my diploma this summer (wont mean anything to non-UK members). I have been playing for 13 years, though the first two years yielded no success due to bad teachers. I am happy to be currently incorporating piano performance as part of my degree I have also been playing concert percussion for 4 years. Unfortunately not the drum kit. Besides an upright piano I own a cheap electric guitar and a rather good flute that I don't really play now Back to top
