I'm hesitating a little, you see, but here it goes, anyway. I see that some people who listen to my music comment on the quality of the MIDI instruments, and while the MIDI quality is even more central on my latest upcoming composition (hee hee hee), I really, really wished to listen to one of my pieces with a more... er, un-MIDI sound, let's say. Perhaps you're willing to give it a try, when you have the time? I mean, it's just a suggestion. You could take one of the songs ('Somewhat Late' is a huge personal favourite of mine...) and do your own remix with your synths and sounds. I swear I'd love to hear it, and make others hear it, too. Let me know what you think. But if you want a real suggestion, James mentioned "Guitars" above. What about "Summit Day"? Have you tried that one already? You can find the MIDI files in my MIDI site, though these files are slightly "crude" versions. I slightly modified most of them before recording, and I still have to find out where these "final" MIDI files are. But they're there, anyway. It kind of still sounds machine-like, but the synth sounds help to disguise this fact more than your original recording of it If you're still interested I could have a go at doing another one off the album, or I could make my own arrangement of Somewhat Late. Loads I'd like to do with it. Regarding my enthusiastic interest, it isn't so much because of the music itself - rather the experience I'd get from doing another multitrack recording. I'm not creative enough to think of a tune myself as I feel I'm too classically orientated for such a task Back to top
