Watching the amazing Exposed DVD recently (I gave it a good review on Amazon) I recalled the Manchester 1979 gig at the dreadful Belle Vue venue, called Kings Hall (actually not the Apollo as listed on this site, God I wish it had been).

I remember at this gig there was an amazing carnival atmosphere, more so than usual probably because this was the last show of the tour.  Also I remember there being an announcer for the instruments at the end of Tubular Bells 1.  I was surprised by this as the BBC had already broadcast one of the London gigs and there wasn’t an announcer at all.  I couldn’t see who it was from where I was in the auditorium and I never found out.  So this is my question, who did the announcing of the instruments at Manchester 1979!
