If you could pick any landmark, venue, place, city or country for Mike to do a concert, where would you pick?

I`d love Mike to perform at Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds. Founded in 1152 by Cistercian Monks, it is one of Britains best preserved Abbeys. It has hosted many classical concerts before. There must be so many amazing places Mike could perform?

On the banks of Loch Lomond in scotland, huge space for a huge audience. :) Or failing that my room could fit about 2 guitars and a piano.

But aye Loch Lomond would be great I think.

ahh.. i know one very special place here in norway. We have a mountain called "prekestolen" If you look at this place you will notice that this place is not for them who have "high fear".
And it is not a place for many to come and watch and hear, but i think it could be a place for fans. A competition made by mecury and then the winners would be lucky to see it. (now im in dream world, i know, hehe)
here is the placepicture 2
want to know how high it is over the sea?
another picture
and see mike think about it!!!!!

;)

it would be great anyway..
i wonder if anita ever took him there. It is very known in Norway.
I would love to have a great setlist to if you mind  ;)
tubular world
wild goose flaps it wings
wonderful land
In high places (special guest jon anderson)
North point (with anita hegerland, another special guest)
weightless (anita in background) then crossfade in
Ommadawn in the end. (she and jon could do a perfect background singing i know)
Landfall - could be a perfect light after ommadawn
Blackbird - a new suprising one
Crystal clear - of course!!
hergest ridge - part one (big suprise!!
great plain
embers/from the ashes
far above the clouds
moonlight shadow (anita)
blue night (anita)
then a suprising encore to
ommadawn part 2!!
cooks tune!
and finally dalphins with that huge guitar solo!!!

yeah such a dream setlist..

but you asked for a place and you got it...

I'd love to see Mike do a concert near to Edinburgh Castle, round about the place where the Tattoo is held. Just him playing whilst overlooking the city of Edinburgh and its many tourist landmarks, I think it would be wonderful. I mainly thought of this because I'm currently listening to TBII, and I love the track "Tattoo".

Edinburgh Castle esplanade was used for the opening performance of TBII. SoimSandheaver, if you haven't already seen it on DVD and you like the Tattoo section of TBII, make sure and get hold of the DVD. The use of real pipes in it sends a shiver down my spine every time I listen/watch. Fantastic!

I think my very own "balcony" (1.85m x 3.5m) would be a perfect place for Mike to perform - you´re always welcome!!!! :)

here is the place

Hmm, this is pretty much what I imagined would be the scene for Far Above The Clouds... Mike in a sorcerers' outfit battling with the devil in the clouds, Mike on the clifftop of course.  :D

That hippy day sounds cool Piltdownboy,I think I'd pick FATC, Hergest Ridge or Ommadawn Part 1 as a finale :D .

Salisbury Cathedral is an impressive building an archetectural feat of enginering, Mike's music deserves tobe heard in such an amazing     setting.
There's always on top of Hergest Ridge, what setting could be more appropriate than that
 .  Failing that there's also my lounge ;) ,  might have to be an acoustic set, due to space or lack of it.

I'm going slightly mad,
It finally happened, I'm slightly mad , just very slightly mad

If you feel a little glum to Hergest Ridge you should come.

Sorry but I forgot to put a link in to Salisbury Cathedral :O , here it is in all it's archetectural glory www.salisburycathedral.org.uk

I think listening to Mike's music in such beautiful surroundings could be a very spiritual/religious experience.
