this is only my second ever long-format song; mike's influence is blatant, but i think that's a good thing.

I can certainly hear the Mike influences, but there's definitely originality here.  Call me mad if you like, but I can imagine Bjork singing over the more rhythmical sections!  Perhaps the 'musical box'-style section needs some development in terms of dynamics?  It feels a bit flat and underworked.  Otherwise, I highly commend your efforts!
