There are some impressive players of Mike's music on Youtube. One in particular is this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v....search=

I wonder if he is a member here. There is even a family doing Mike's music

I love that one of the last link.
I watched all those before with the father, mother (who just holds the guitar and does nothing) and the really goodlooking son. :D :p . that one was really enjoyable!!!!!!  :D

Hi Ian,

Russell (llanbradach) and I subscribe to each other. I believe I have included some of his videos in the 'LemKuiper' thread, plus ALL of the videos done by that family (saintjug7) who I subscribe to also. I don't think they will be doing any more videos as they were on holiday visiting relatives at the time. Anyway, if you check out the LemKuiper thread in the General Discussion forum you will find numerous videos from MO fans.

I have just discovered some new ones of some of Mikes dance singles which I will be adding today, so check it out. Rather than starting a new 'You Tube' thread here, I think it would nice to keep that already established thread going if you don't mind.

Add as many MO related You Tube videos as you like, see you over there matey.

Cheers,
Tracy.

Hello everyone,

I just registered after being made aware of this site, my name is Russell, I am the YouTuber who is on the link at the top of this page playing Ommadawn, on YouTube my name is "Llanbradach", which is the name of the village I live in, in South Wales UK.

I have been an Oldfield fan since the 70's when Tubular Bells entered the charts.

This looks a great site for Oldfield fans.

G'day Russell, great to see you here, enjoy! LemKuiper has joined our site also recently, have you seen any of his videos yet? Check out the 'LemKuiper' thread which includes many other MO related clips as well that you may have missed on You Tube.

G'day Chicular, I subscribe to you also.

Have any of you seen Eric Mongrains videos? It's not Mike related but he is awesome, also in the LemKuiper thread.

Hello Mark,

Welcome to tubularnet. As I said earlier, links to all of your videos have been included in the 'LemKuiper' thread which has now been moved to the 'Fans Music' section under 'Fan Tracks' if you can't find it. It hasn't been getting any traffic since it was moved. I may need to change the title to a more general You Tube thread title so anyone who is interested in what is going on in You Tube as far as music fans are concerned knows to look in there as it took me quite a long time to add all those links and I would like to try and keep it going. I got a message from your Aunty I believe in You Tube once after commenting on the younger lads efforts, your cousin. I certainly think there is very little else cooler than a family that plays music together, esp when it is the music of someone as cool as Mike.

So tell us how you got into Mike, obviously your Dad influenced you, and will you be making any more videos for us to enjoy?

Hi Tracy
Emm well i suppose it was my dad who got me (and my brother) into Mike Oldfield. Weve been surrounded in it from a very young age, so that is bound to have an effect  :D In my opinion theres no music better than Oldfield  :D
Hopefully we will be doing more videos, id certainly like to.
If there are any new ones, i'l tell you all
  cheers, Mark      :)

Well, i see that Youtube players are noted here too, so i would like to point to a pen-pal of mine that recently posted some videos of him playing to Oldfield's music on Youtube. I think he did a very good job.

Here's the link:
