Alright, the point of the topic is definitely not about showing off  how many albums you have. I'm just curious how many of you in 'modern p2p world' still try to make this little effort and spend some cash on music you love.

I'll start from my little collection, nothing special, but I'm still trying to let it grow each month. When I start to earn for myself the process is definitely going to increace its pace. :D Well, that's like 3% of things I'd like to have... I`m just trying to do a rough estimate on my cd/vinyl here and it`s going way above a couple of thousand. So I think it`s probably for the best that I leave it right there to be honest.Plus I know from what I`ve read from Ugo on here.I dare say the forum would probably go into meltdown if he started typing his list out..  ;)

I`ve slowed right up with the music buying in recent years though I must admit.Partly because of the p2p thing, but mainly because I`m not as excited by new music as I used to be.Most of the stuff I tend to buy these days is from people who have been around for quite a while now.If it`s something I love I`ll always go out and buy it eventualy.Although the one good thing about the p2p thing is that you don`t have to try and convince yourself into liking something just because you`ve shelled out a load of money on it.Should ever any peeved off music execs come banging on my door looking for all the illegal music I`ve downloaded over the last few years.Well they`re gonna have to start digging pretty darn deep into the recycle bin to find over 95% of it that`s for sure.

I`ve only got a handful of music/dvd`s though,as it`s not something I`m really into to be honest.I`ve got all of Mike`s Tubular performances same as yourself Warlock.Plus a few things from The Beatles/McCartney and The Bonzo Dog Band. But yeah I`m not really a big fan of watching live music on the telly if you like.If I was into people like Girls Aloud and The Pussycat Dolls I dare say that might`ve been different. But there you go,there`s no accounting for taste I suppose!?

Anyway those are two of my favourite Dead Can Dance albums in your list there Warlock, great stuff.I don`t really know why but I thought there may have been more mention of that particular band on this forum. And err...Well,yeah there has`nt been.So what the hell I was thinkng of I`ve got absolutley no idea???..

My list would be too long, but I have every album Queen released on LP on LP at least once, I've bought Queen singles from 1986 onwards, again I've tried to get every 7 or 12" version. The same applies to Iron Maiden  and virtually every album by the Rolling Stones on LP. I've quite a few of Mikes albums on LP, I have five different pressings of Tubular Bells.  I've found quite a few Lps in charity shops, but I'm currently without a turntable.

Of course if I listed CDs into it I think about 60-70% I've bought on CD.

I can't. I have over 2500 CDs and 500 vinyls. No Mike on vinyl, unfortunately, but I've got two copies of the entire M.O. discography on CD, and of some of them I've got three copies.

Now those are some serious major collections you guys have  ;) Unfortunately I can't afford buying that much, relation earnings-CD cost in Poland is just pathetic. But anyway, it's just a matter of time ;)
